The stimulus package signed by President Biden on Thursday provides new options for Americans who need health insurance and new resources to help lower costs for those who are already insured.
Few of these changes apply to Americans who get insurance at work or through Medicare. But if you buy your own insurance, have been uninsured, or have recently lost job-based coverage because of a layoff, the bill introduces new programs and new funding to help you get and stay covered. The new programs are temporary none last longer than two years.
Developed by Janssen, the pharmaceutical arm of Johnson & Johnson, it is the fourth vaccine the EU has granted the conditional marketing authorisation, after the ones developed by BioNTech-Pfizer, Moderna and AstraZeneca, reports Xinhua news agency.

The Access IL-6 assay is an in-vitro diagnostic test for the quantitative determination of IL-6 levels in human serum and plasma (heparin). The fully-automated assay helps physicians identify a severe inflammatory response in COVID-19 patients, often referred to as cytokine storm, and determine the risk of intubation with mechanical ventilation, in conjunction with clinical findings and the results of other laboratory testing.
